shipping and returns


Shipping Methods

The standard shipping method is USPS Priority Mail. Hammocks and tarps will ship for $15 to the Continental United States. Orders with quilts ship for $20. Custom hammocks, tarps and quilts will be shipped with signature required for delivery unless otherwise requested.

First Class parcel service is available for most accessories and suspension orders to reduce shipping cost for small items. Tracking is included.

If you’d like to use a different carrier or require shipping outside of the Continental United States, contact me for a shipping quote.

Parallel 43 may, at its discretion, upgrade your shipping option from First Class to Priority Mail. This is sometimes done due to package weight or size restrictions and will not add any additional cost or delay the arrival of your order. Orders that have selected Priority Mail as the shipping option will not be affected.

Fulfillment time for custom orders can vary based on work load, please refer to the home page for current lead times.

Custom hammocks and tarps usually ship in 3-4 weeks.

Custom Accessories usually ship in one to two weeks.

In stock items typically ship within 2 business days.


Warranty and returns

Warranty:

Parallel 43 warrants all products to be free of defects in workmanship and materials upon delivery. Please inspect all items upon receipt. Parallel 43 cannot warranty items due to normal wear and tear, age, abuse or neglect. Food bags and other storage accessories are warranted for 1 year from date of purchase.

Returns

Parallel 43 accepts returns of in-stock items in new and unused condition. Contact me if a return is needed. Once the item is received and inspected you’ll be issued a refund for your purchase minus the original shipping charge.

Custom items cannot be returned.
